At BMS Services Ltd, February has been a reminder of both the challenges and achievements within the busbar installation industry.

Across the sector, project timelines continue to be affected by manufacturer delivery delays, impacting major sites such as Hinkley and AWE. While these external factors can disrupt schedules, our teams continue to adapt and deliver wherever possible.

Despite early delays, the leading British luxury performance car manufacturer project has made excellent progress, with the team installing a significant number of lengths in a short period. A great example of the dedication and professionalism across our workforce.

Safety remains our top priority. Recent site visits highlighted the importance of consistently completing essential documentation such as RAMS, toolbox talks, and safe start records. Maintaining these standards protects our people and ensures we operate responsibly across all projects.

We’re also continuing our digital transformation, with Procore being rolled out across new projects to improve collaboration, reporting, and project management.

A big thank you to Tom and Kayode, who are leading work on Data centre sites in the UK and Israel and setting the high standards expected by both client and end user.
